Section 3: Disassembly of the console.
Tools Required:
Just four tools are required for maintaining MagicQ MQ80 consoles, as listed and
pictured below. Listed from left to right, these are:
• 2mm ball driver, or a small flat head screwdriver,
depending on the console age.
• 5.5mm Nut driver for PCB spacers*
• PZ2 screwdriver
• PZ1 screwdriver
*can be substituted with an adjustable spanner.
Opening the console:
To begin opening the console, remove the 9x M4x6 black screws located on the
underside of the console in the locations highlighted below. Turn the console upside
down onto a soft surface to remove these screws.
