What to do if there is a grease fire on my Char-Broil Commercial 463247209?
    • T
      Theresa HarveyAug 3, 2025
If you experience a grease fire or continuous excessive flames above the cooking surface of your Char-Broil Grill, it's likely due to too much grease buildup in the burner area. To resolve this, turn off the control knobs and the LP cylinder valve. Leave the lid open to allow the flames to die down. Once the grill is cool, thoroughly clean any food particles and excess grease from inside the firebox area, grease tray, and other surfaces.

How to fix gas leaking from the hose of my Char-Broil Commercial 463247209?
    • M
      Morgan PenningtonAug 7, 2025
If gas is leaking from a damaged hose on your Char-Broil Grill, immediately turn off the gas supply at the LP cylinder or, for natural gas systems, at the source. If the hose is cracked or cut, replace the valve/hose/regulator. However, if the hose is burned, stop using the grill until a plumber investigates the cause and makes necessary corrections.

      Luis LoweryAug 12, 2025
If you observe fire coming through the control panel of your Char-Broil Grill, immediately turn off the control knobs and the LP cylinder valve. Leave the lid open to let the flames subside. After the fire is out and the grill is cold, take out the burner and check for spider nests or rust.

      rsextonAug 15, 2025
If gas is leaking between the LP cylinder and the regulator connection on your Char-Broil Grill, it could be due to improper installation, a loose connection, or a damaged rubber seal. First, turn off the LP cylinder valve. Then, detach the regulator from the cylinder and carefully inspect the rubber seal for any signs of damage.

    • J
      James NelsonOct 28, 2025
If the burner on your Char-Broil Grill won't light using the ignitor, several factors could be at play. Inspect the burner tubes for obstructions like spider webs. Confirm that the LP cylinder isn't empty and, if not, refer to 'Sudden drop in gas flow'.
