Why is there a sudden drop in gas flow in my Char-Broil Grill?
    • G
      Glen MunozAug 21, 2025
A sudden drop in gas flow or low flame in your Char-Broil grill can be due to several reasons: you might be out of gas, the excess flow valve may have tripped, or there could be a vapor lock at the coupling nut/LP cylinder connection. To resolve this: * Check the gas level in your LP cylinder. * If the flames are low, turn off the knobs, wait 30 seconds, and then light the grill. If the flames remain low, turn off the knobs and the LP cylinder valve, disconnect the regulator, reconnect it, perform a leak test, turn on the LP cylinder valve, wait 30 seconds, and then light the grill. * Alternatively, turn off the knobs and LP cylinder valve, disconnect the coupling nut from the cylinder, reconnect it, and try again.

What to do if flames blow out on Char-Broil COMMERCIAL 463268008?
    • A
      Anthony CallahanAug 29, 2025
If the flames on your Char-Broil grill are blowing out, it could be due to high or gusting winds, low LP gas, or a tripped excess flow valve. Try these solutions: * Turn the front of the grill to face the wind or increase the flame height. * Refill the LP cylinder. * Refer to the instructions for a sudden drop in gas flow.

What causes a persistent grease fire in my Char-Broil COMMERCIAL 463268008 Grill and how to stop it?
    • K
      kingalyssaSep 1, 2025
A persistent grease fire in your Char-Broil grill is typically caused by grease trapped by food buildup around the burner system. To resolve this: * Turn the knobs to the OFF position. * Turn the gas off at the LP cylinder. * Leave the lid in position and let the fire burn out. * After the grill cools, remove and clean all parts.

Why is there a flashback (fire in burner tube(s)) in my Char-Broil Grill?
    • M
      Michael FosterSep 5, 2025
A flashback, or fire in the burner tubes of your Char-Broil grill, usually means the burner and/or burner tubes are blocked. To fix this: * Turn the knobs to OFF. * Clean the burner and/or burner tubes. See burner cleaning section of Use and Care.

Why is my Char-Broil Grill LP cylinder unable to fill?
    • J
      John CordovaSep 8, 2025
If you're unable to fill your Char-Broil grill's LP cylinder, it might be because some dealers have older fill nozzles with worn threads. These worn nozzles might not have enough "bite" to engage the valve. Try a second LP dealer.
