Why does my Chauvet Lighting Equipment circuit breaker keep tripping?
    • G
      Gregory PhillipsAug 13, 2025
The circuit breaker might be tripping because of an excessive circuit load. Try reducing the total load on the electrical circuit. Alternatively, there may be a short circuit along the power wires, so check the electrical wiring for shorts.

What to do if Chauvet Lighting Equipment fixture does not power up?
    • C
      Chad KirbyAug 16, 2025
If your Chauvet Lighting Equipment fixture isn't powering up, it could be due to a depleted battery, so try recharging it. It could also be due to faulty power converters or a faulty main control board, in which case the unit should be sent for repair. Another reason could be an internal fuse blown, in this case call CHAUVET® technical support.

How to fix Chauvet Lighting Equipment battery that does not charge?
    • R
      Robert BrownAug 25, 2025
If the battery on your Chauvet Lighting Equipment isn't charging, first ensure the battery switch is turned on. Check that there is voltage on the outlet. If you're using a flight case charger, inspect and replace the fuse (T 6.3 A @ 250 V) if it's blown. The external battery charger or the flight case charger might be faulty, consider replacing the external battery charger or sending the flight case for repair. Also, the battery itself could be faulty and need replacement.

How to fix Chauvet WELL Lighting Equipment fixture that does not respond to wireless DMX?
    • C
      Christopher SmithAug 27, 2025
If your Chauvet Lighting Equipment fixture isn't responding to wireless DMX, first activate W-DMX from the Control Panel. Make sure the WELL antenna is extended and the WDMX transmitter is turned on. Pair the WELL to the W-DMX transmitter. If the WELL is beyond the transmitter’s range, move the W-DMX transmitter closer. Reposition the WELL to avoid interference from other equipment.

Why is the output low on my Chauvet Lighting Equipment?
    • R
      Richard GatesAug 31, 2025
Low output on your Chauvet Lighting Equipment could be due to several reasons. If the battery is depleted, recharge it. Incorrect COLOR settings (COLO, CAL1, and CAL2) can also cause this, so check those settings. A dirty LED lens cover can reduce output, so clean it. Finally, make sure the LED panels are correctly oriented.

      Olivia FitzgeraldSep 4, 2025
If no LED illuminates on your Chauvet Lighting Equipment, but the control panel operates normally, it could be due to no power to the LEDs, a faulty main control board, or faulty internal wiring. Check the wiring, but the unit should be sent for repair in the first two cases.

      Hailey WoodsNov 19, 2025
If your Chauvet Lighting Equipment fixture isn't responding to wired DMX, or responds erratically, there are several things to check: * Verify the unit addressing. * Check the cable connections and the DMX cables for damage. * Ensure correct polarity on the controller by checking the polarity switch settings. * Use only DMX compatible cables. * Install a terminator to prevent bouncing signals. * For low level signals or long cables, install an optically coupled DMX splitter. * If you have too many fixtures, install an optically coupled DMX splitter after unit #32. * Keep DMX cables separated from power cables or fluorescent/black lights to avoid interference. If none of these solutions work, the DMX interface or main control board might be faulty, requiring the unit to be...
