NOTE:
If the engine continues to over-
heat or frequently overheats, have the
cooling system inspected by your autho-
rized dealer as soon as possible.
Fuse Replacement
Fuses are used to protect electrical
circuitry and components from a pos-
sible electrical overload. If a fuse fails
on your vehicle, see the fuse applica-
tion chart to replace the fuse with the
proper amperage.
WARNING!
Turn the ignition switch OFF before re-
placing any fuse.
CAUTION!
When replacing a blown fuse, it is im-
portant to use only a fuse having the
correct amperage rating. The use of
a fuse with a rating other than indi-
cated may result in a dangerous elec-
trical system overload. If a properly
rated fuse continues to blow, it indi-
cates a problem in the circuit that must
be corrected.
The Front Fuse and Relay Box is lo-
cated in the engine compartment.
Spare fuses should be carried in the
vehicle in case any fail. Your autho-
rized Chery dealer stocks various
types of fuses required for your ve-
hicle.
CAUTION!
When installing the Front Fuse and Re-
lay Box cover, it is important to ensure
the cover is properly positioned and
fully latched. Failure to do so may al-
low water to enter and possibly result
in an electrical system failure.
