38 Seats, restraints
Set the seat high enough to have
a clear field of vision on all sides
and on all display instruments.
There should be at least one
hand of clearance between your
head and the headlining. Your
thighs should rest lightly on the
seat without pressing into it.
Adjust the head restraint. See
Head restraints on page 35.
Adjust the height of the safety
belt. See "Height adjustment"
under Three-point safety belts on
page 43.

To move seat forward or backward,
pull the handle and slide seat to
desired position.
Release the handle and make sure
the seat is locked in place.
{ Danger
Do not sit nearer than 25 cm(10in)
to the steering wheel, to permit
safe airbag deployment.
{Warning
Never adjust seats while driving as
they could move uncontrollably.
