SHOULDER BELT LOCKOFF
Do not put the shoulder belt in the
locked mode before installing and using
the Shoulder Belt Lockoff.

With vehicle belt tight, position the
Shoulder belt under the Shoulder Belt
Lockoff that is on the opposite side of the
buckle. Do not pull belt to tighten when belt
is in the Shoulder Belt Lockoff. Applying
too much pressure to the Lockoff can
damage it.

Firmly slide shoulder belt into the
lockoff.
(Optional: Once the base is installed tightly,
the shoulder belt can be put in the locked mode.

The Shoulder Belt Lockoff (diagonal belt) is used when installing the Base using
your vehicle belts. It locks the vehicle shoulder belt in place, ensuring a stable,
secure Base installation.
