FOCUS AREAS
a) Do not install the car seat on seats where the airbag is activated.
The child car seat can only be used on the front passenger seat if
the front airbag is deactivated: check with the car manufacturer or
see the owner’s manual for instructions on how to deactivate the
airbag. It is always recommended to slide the vehicle seat as far
back as possible depending on whether passengers are travelling
on the back seat or not. Never use this child car seat on vehicle
seats facing the sides or opposite to the direction of the driver's
seat (Fig. 18). According to accident statistics, a vehicle's rear seat is
generally safer than the front seat: therefore, we suggest to install
the car seat on the rear seat of the vehicle.
b) The car seat must only be installed rear-facing.
c) The installation must take place on seats equipped with the Isox
System.
d) The child must not weigh more than 13 kg.
e) During installation with the Isox system, the vehicle safety har-
ness must not be fastened behind the car seat, as this would en-
gage the inatable portion of the safety harness.
f) Use of the reducer cushion (included) is mandatory up to 60 cm.
Starting from 61 cm the reducer cushion is no longer necessary.
2. 40-85 cm (Max 13 kg) “Universal Belted” - installation with
3-point vehicle belt rear-facing (see illustrations from num-
bers 16 to 26)
The reducer cushion must be used from 40 cm to 60 cm.
