How to fix no communication between Chloride SE041XAT and PC?
    • A
      Anthony West IIAug 13, 2025
If there is no communication between your Chloride UPS and PC, first check if you are using the correct serial connection cable, as standard modem/null modem cables are not suitable. Also, verify that the interface on the PC is not being used by another process or is defective; try selecting a different serial interface. Finally, consider that there might be interference on the data cable, so try laying the cable differently or reinstalling the cabling.

What to do if “ON” LED does not illuminate when mains voltage present, acoustic alarm active at intervals in Chloride SE041XAT?
    • L
      Lisa CollierAug 18, 2025
If the “ON” LED does not illuminate when mains voltage is present, and the acoustic alarm is active at intervals on your Chloride UPS, it is likely that the input fuse is defective or the input circuit breaker has tripped. Replace the fuse with one of the same type or switch on the circuit breaker.

What to do if there is no indication and no alarm on my Chloride UPS?
    • J
      Johnny MayAug 26, 2025
If there is no indication and no alarm, and the Chloride UPS is switched off, it could be due to several reasons: the mains might be switched off (in this case, switch on the main switch), there might be no mains voltage present (have mains inspected by a qualified electrician), or the input fuse might be blown or the input circuit breaker tripped (replace the fuse with one of the same type or switch on the circuit breaker).
