The safety signs and warnings in this manual conform to American Boat & Yacht Council Standard T
-5, Safety Signs and Labels. Each of the labels are illustrated below with an explanation of the haz-
ard level.
This manual is not all inclusive and does not constitute all of the
Warnings, Cautions and Notices that should be recognized and
practiced. This manual does not incorporate all the safety practices
you should use in boating.
Immediate hazards that WILL result in severe personal injury or
death if the warning is ignored.
Hazards or unsafe practices that COULD result in severe personal
injury or death if the warning is ignored.
Hazards or unsafe practices that could result in injury, product or
property damage if the warning is ignored.
Notice is used to notify people of installation, operation, or main-
tenance information which is important but not hazard related.
