DRAM DIMM Installation
Take the following steps to install the DRAM DIMMs:
Step 1 Power OFF the router.
Step 2 Attach an ESD-preventive wrist strap.
Step 3 Open the cover following the instructions in the “Opening the Chassis” section
on page B-3.
Step 4 Remove the existing DRAM DIMM by pulling outward on the connectors to
unlatch them, as shown in Figure B-4. Be careful not to break the holders on the
DIMM connector.
Caution To prevent damage, do not press on the center of the DIMMs. Handle each
DIMM carefully.
