Card Replacement Process
Reattaching the Antenna End Cap
To reattach the antenna end cap, follow these steps:
Step 1 If you have added new WMICs, remove the corresponding antenna end cap plugs from the antenna end
cap and replace them with RP-TNC connectors.
Step 2 Attach the antenna cables to the antenna end cap, as shown in Figure 2-2.
Step 3 Attach the antenna identification labels for the new WMICs on the antenna end cap’s exterior, as shown
in
Figure 3-16. (Figure 3-16 shows one new label being applied over an old label.)

Step 4 Use a 3/8-inch socket to secure the antenna end cap with four 1/4-20 x 1 1/4-inch-long bolts. The torque
range for the antenna end cap bolts is 58 to 68 in-lb.
