To remove, replace, or install a MICA module, you must first remove the digital modem
module from the router chassis.
Caution To avoid damaging electrostatic discharge (ESD)-sensitive components,
observe all ESD precautions when handling MICA modules. To avoid damaging the
network module or the MICA module, avoid excessive force when you remove or replace
MICA modules.
