If your Cisco Network Router is having trouble connecting to the Internet, there are several things you can check: * Make sure your web browser is not in offline mode. * Review your Ethernet adapter's local area network connection settings, ensuring your PC obtains an IP address through DHCP; or configure a static IP address in the 192.168.1.x range, with the default gateway set to 192.168.1.1. * Confirm that the settings you entered in the Wizard to set up your Internet connection are correct. * Try resetting both your modem and the router by turning them off, then turning the modem back on and waiting about 2 minutes before turning the router back on.
