Automatic operation
F Select position D for automaticchanging
ofthefourgears.
Thegearboxthenoperatesinauto-adaptive
mode,withoutanyinterventiononthepart
ofthedriver.Itcontinuouslyselectsthemost
suitablegearaccordingtothestyleofdriving,
theprofileoftheroadandtheloadinthe
vehicle.
Formaximumaccelerationwithouttouching
theselector,presstheacceleratorpedaldown
fully(kickdown).Thegearboxchangesdown
automaticallyormaintainsthegearselected
untilthemaximumenginespeedisreached.
Onbraking,thegearboxchangesdown
automaticallytoprovideefficientengine
braking.
If you release the accelerator sharply, the
gearboxwillnotchangetoahighergearfor
safetyreasons.
Never select position N while the
vehicleismoving.
Never select positions P or R unless
thevehicleiscompletelystationary.
