Activation
Itistriggeredbythespeedatwhichthebrake
pedalispressed.
Theeffectofthisisareductioninthe
resistanceofthepedalandanincreasein
brakingefficiency.
Whenbrakinginanemergency,press
firmlywithoutreleasingthepressure.
Trajectorycontrolsystems
Anti-slip regulation (ASR)
and dynamic stability
control (DSC)
Theanti-slipregulation(alsoknownastraction
control)optimisestractiontopreventskidding
ofthewheels,byactingonthebrakesofthe
drivingwheelsandontheengine.
The electronic stability control acts on the
brakeofoneormorewheelsandontheengine
tokeepthevehicleonthetrajectoryrequired
bythedriver,withinthelimitsofthelawsof
physics.
Activation
Thesesystemsareactivatedautomatically
eachtimethevehicleisstarted.
Theycomeintooperationintheeventofagrip
ortrajectoryproblem.
Thisisindicatedbyflashingofthis
warninglampintheinstrumentpanel.
