Anti-lock braking system
and electronic brake force

Linkedsystemswhichimprovethestabilityand
manoeuvrabilityofyourvehiclewhenbraking,
inparticularonpoororslipperysurfaces.
Activation
Theanti-lockbrakingsystemcomesinto
operationautomaticallywhenthereisariskof
wheellock.
NormaloperationoftheABSmaymakeitself
feltbyslightvibrationofthebrakepedal.
Whenbrakinginanemergency,press
veryfirmlywithoutreleasingthe
pressure.
Operating fault
Ifthiswarninglampcomeson,
togetherwiththeSTOPandABS
warninglamps,accompaniedbyan
audiblesignalandamessageinthescreen,it
indicatesamalfunctionoftheelectronicbrake
forcedistributionwhichcouldresultinlossof
controlofthevehiclewhenbraking.
You must stop as soon as it is safe to do so.
Whenreplacingwheels(tyresand
rims),ensurethattheyconformtothe
manufacturer'srecommendations.
Ifthiswarninglampcomeson,
accompaniedbyanaudiblesignal
andamessageinthescreen,it
indicatesamalfunctionoftheanti-lockbraking
systemwhichcouldresultinlossofcontrolof
thevehiclewhenbraking.
