F Turnthumbwheel1 to the "CRUISE"
position:thecruisecontrolmodeis
selectedbutisnotswitchedon(PAUSE).
F Settheprogrammedspeedby
acceleratingtotherequiredspeed,then
press button 2 or 3(e.g.:70mph
(110km/h)).
Youcanthenchangetheprogrammedspeedusingbuttons2and3:
- by+or-1mph(km/h)=shortpress,
- by+or-5mph(km/h)=longpress,
- instepsof+or-5mph(km/h)=maintainedpress.
F Switchoffthecruisecontrolbypressingbutton4:thescreen
confirmsthatithasbeenswitchedoff(PAUSE).
F Switchthecruisecontrolbackonbypressingbutton4again.
Exceeding the programmed speed
Intentionalorunintentionalexceedingoftheprogrammedspeedresultsin
flashingofthisspeedinthescreen.
Returntotheprogrammedspeed,bymeansofintentionalorunintentional
decelerationofthevehicle,automaticallycancelstheflashingofthespeed.
Leaving cruise control mode
F Turnthumbwheel1 to the "0"position:thecruisecontrolmodeis
deselected.Thedisplayreturnstothedistancerecorder.
Operating fault
Intheeventofacruisecontrolmalfunction,
thespeedisclearedresultinginflashingofthe
dashes.HaveitcheckedbyaCITROËNdealer
oraqualifiedworkshop.
Whenthecruisecontrolisswitchedon,
becarefulifyoumaintainthepressure
ononeoftheprogrammedspeed
changingbuttons:thismayresultina
veryrapidchangeinthespeedofyour
vehicle.
Donotusethecruisecontrolon
slipperyroadsorinheavytraffic.
Onasteepdescent,thecruisecontrol
will not be able to prevent the vehicle
fromexceedingtheprogrammed
speed.
Toavoidanyriskofjammingofthe
pedals:
- ensurethatthematissecured
correctly,
- neverfitonematontopofanother.
