Ifanautomaticwipingfaultoccurs,thewipers
willoperateinintermittentmode.
HaveitcheckedbyaCITROËNdealerora
qualifiedworkshop.
To retain the effectiveness of the flat
wiperblades,itisadvisableto:
- handlethemwithcare,
- cleanthemregularlyusingsoapy
water,
- notusethemtoholdasheetof
cardboardagainstthewindscreen,
- replacethematthefirstsignsof
wear.
Donotcovertherainsensor,linked
withthesunshinesensorandlocatedin
thecentreofthewindscreenbehindthe
rearviewmirror.
Switchofftheautomaticwipingwhen
usinganautomaticcarwash.
Inwinter,itisadvisabletowaituntilthe
windscreeniscompletelyclearofice
beforeactivatingtheautomaticwiping.
Thispositionallowsthewiperbladesto
beliftedforwinterparking,cleaningor
replacementwithoutdamagingthebonnet.
Intheminutefollowingswitchingoffofthe
ignition,anyactiononthewiperstalkpositions
thewipersvertically.
Toparkthewipersafterthishasbeendone,
switchontheignitionandoperatethewiperstalk.
