Procedureforchargingyourbatterywhenitisflatorforstartingtheengineusinganotherbattery.
Thebatteryislocatedunderthebonnet.
Togainaccesstoit:
F openthebonnetusingtheinteriorrelease
lever,thentheexteriorsafetycatch,
F secure the bonnet stay,
F lifttheplasticcoveronthe(+)terminal.
Access to the battery
Afterrefittingthebatterybya
CITROƋNdealeroraqualified
workshop,theStop&Startsystem
will only be active after a continuous
periodofimmobilisationofthevehicle,
aperiodwhichdependsontheclimatic
conditionsandthestateofchargeof
thebattery(uptoabout8hours).
The presence of this label, in particular
withtheStop&Startsystem,indicates
theuseofa12Vlead-acidbatterywith
specialtechnologyandspecification;
theinvolvementofaCITROƋNdealer
oraqualifiedworkshopisessential
whenreplacingordisconnectingthe
battery.
Failuretoobservethisrecommendation
maycauseprematurewearofthe
battery.
