Thedeactivatedfunctionsarereactivated
automaticallyassoonasconditionspermit.
Energyeconomymode
Systemwhichmanagestheperiodofuseofcertainfunctionstoconserveasufficientlevelof
chargeinthebattery.
Aftertheenginehasstopped,youcanstillusefunctionssuchastheaudioequipment,windscreen
wipers,dippedbeamheadlamps,courtesylamps,etc.foramaximumcombinedperiodof
thirtyminutes.
Thisperiodmaybegreatlyreducedif
thebatteryisnotfullycharged.
Aflatbatterypreventstheenginefrom
starting.
Ifthetelephoneisbeingusedatthe
sametime,itwillbeinterruptedafter
10minutes.
Switching to economy mode
Oncethisperiodhaselapsed,amessage
appearsinthescreenindicatingthatthe
vehiclehasswitchedtoeconomymodeandthe
activefunctionsareputonstandby.
Exiting economy mode
Thesefunctionsarereactivatedautomatically
thenexttimethevehicleisdriven.
F Inordertoresumetheuseofthese
functionsimmediately,starttheengineand
letitrunforafewminutes.
Thetimeavailabletoyouwillthenbedouble
theperiodforwhichtheengineisleftrunning.
However,thisperiodwillalwaysbebetween
fiveandthirtyminutes.
