Procedureforhavingyourvehicletowedorfortowinganothervehicleusingaremovabletowingeye.
Thetowingeyeisinstalledinthebootunder
thefloor.
Togainaccesstoit:
F open the boot,
F raise the floor,
F removethepolystyrenestoragebox,
F removethetowingeyefromtheholder.

General recommendations
Observethelegislationinforceinyourcountry.
Ensurethattheweightofthetowingvehicleishigherthanthatofthetowedvehicle.
Thedrivermustremainatthewheelofthetowedvehicleandmusthaveavaliddrivinglicence.
Whentowingavehiclewithallfourwheelsontheground,alwaysuseanapprovedtowing
arm;ropeandstrapsareprohibited.
Thetowingvehiclemustmoveoffgently.
Whentowingavehiclewiththeengineoff,thereisnolongeranypowerassistancefor
brakingorsteering.
Inthefollowingcases,youmustalwayscallonaprofessionalrecoveryservice:
- vehiclebrokendownonamotorwayorfastroad,
- four-wheeldrivevehicle,
- whenitisnotpossibletoputthegearboxintoneutral,unlockthesteering,orrelease
theparkingbrake,
- towingwithonlytwowheelsontheground,
- wherethereisnoapprovedtowingarmavailable...
