Operation
How To
Operate
Your
Truck
When
picking
up a
load, enter
the
load
carefully.
The
forks must
be
fully under
the
load
and
spread
as
wide
as
possi-
ble to
provide good stability
and
balance.
If
the
forks need adjusting, lift
the
fork
lock lever. Slide
the
forks
on the
fork
bar
of the
lift carriage
to get the
correct
width
for the
load. Make sure
the
fork
lock
pin
fits
into
a
locking notch
on the
fork
carriage.

Tilt
Cylinders
The
tilt cylinders
are
mounted with self-aligning bearings
at
each end.
All
tilt
requirements
are
satisfied with
a
choice
of two
adjustable
rod
ends
and a
variety
of
external
tilt
limit spacer sleeves.
Driver's
Seat
The
driver's seat
is a new
safety seat equipped with seat belt.
It has
protec-
tive wrap-around arms
at
each
side
designed
to
support
and
hold
the
operator
in the
seat
if the
truck tips.
The
seat
is
bolted
to the
center
top of the
engine compartment cover, which
is
locked
in
place
by the
control latch.
The
seat mounting base allows
a
6-inch
fore-and-aft adjustment
of its
slide mechanism.

Standard wiring harness
is a
one-piece assembly
with in-line fuse holders. Optional models have
two-piece
wiring harness.
Starter
