Disposal
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so that
it can be recycled.
This device is governed by the European Directive 2012/19/EU on waste elec-
trical and electronic equipment (WEEE). Do not dispose of the device as normal
domestic waste, but rather in an environmentally friendly manner via an offi cially
approved waste disposal company.
The battery block should not be disposed of in the normal domestic waste. It
should be removed prior to disposal of the device and disposed of separately from
the device at suitable collection points.
Removing the Battery
PLEASE NOTE!
■ The battery must not be taken apart, thrown into a fi re, immersed in liquids or
short-circuited.
1. Undo the screws on the housing of the device.
2. Open up the two halves of the housing slightly and remove the base (19).
3. The battery appears. First disconnect one connecting cable to the battery and then
the other. PLEASE NOTE: Do not disconnect both cables at the same time so
that there is not a short-circuit!
