Only ever pour conventional window cleaning agents into the fresh water tank! Do
not use any spirit or foam cleaning agents as they can interfere with the way the
device works.
Do not pour boiling-hot water into the fresh water tank. The water must be no hotter
than 40°C.
Never clean screens (televisions, computer monitors etc.) with the device. Electrical
devices of this type are not resistant to moisture.
Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Do not wrap the mains cable around
the mains adapter.
Remove the mains adapter from the plug socket in the event of a thunderstorm.
Never pull or carry the device by the mains cable. When you pull it out of the plug
socket, always pull on the mains adapter and never the mains cable!
In the event of damage / faults (e.g. unusual noises, odour or smoke development)
switch off the device. Have the device checked in a specialist workshop before using
it again.
Protect the device from heat, naked ames, sub-zero temperatures, persistent mois-
ture, wet conditions and impacts.
Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that there
is no interference that may prevent the device from working and to avoid damage.
Never place heavy objects on the device and the connection.
Charging Up the Battery
PLEASE NOTE!
Pull the adapter out of the plug socket if it is not used.
It is essential that you charge up the battery fully before you rst use the device in
order to achieve the maximum charging capacity.
1. First plug the barrel connector on the cable of the mains adapter (3) into the con-
necting socket (11) and then connect the mains adapter to an easily accessible plug
socket (Picture D).
2. The charge control lamp (10) lights up; the battery is being charged.
3. After 10 to 12 hours for the rst charge, otherwise after 4 to 6 hours, rst disconnect
the mains adapter from the mains power and then disconnect the barrel connector
from the motor unit (2).
