■ If the device is intended to be the main vacuum cleaner for a car, please make sure
that the device is not exposed to rain or moisture.
WARNING – risk of injury!
■ Risk of suff ocation! Keep children and animals away from packaging materials.
■ Risk of strangulation! Make sure that the cord for the power adapter is always out
of reach of small children and animals.
■ Risk of chemical burns! If the battery leaks, never allow skin, eyes, or mucous
membranes to come into contact with the battery acid. Should this occur, rinse out
the aff ected areas immediately with plenty of clean water and seek medical attention
immediately.
■ Danger of suction! Keep animals, hair, jewellery, loose clothing, fi ngers and all
other body parts away from the nozzle of the device. They could be sucked in by
the vacuum. If the vacuum cleaner does suck something in, turn off the device im-
mediately.
■ Risk of falling! Make sure that the connected cord for the power adapter is not a
tripping hazard.
WARNING – fi re hazard
■ Do not use the device in rooms where there are highly fl ammable substances or
poisonous or explosive vapours.
■ Do not charge the device near highly fl ammable materials (curtains, textiles, etc.).
■ Do not cover the device during operation and charging, as this can cause the device
to catch fi re. Do not insert anything into the ventilation slits on the device and make
sure that these are not plugged up.
NOTICE – risk of material and property damage
■ Only connect the power adapter to properly installed sockets that match the techni-
cal data of the device. The socket must also be easily accessible after connection,
so that the network connection can be quickly disconnected.
■ Only use proper extension cords with the same technical data as the device.
■ Unplug the power adapter from the socket if a malfunction occurs during charging
or before a storm.
■ When pulling out of the socket, always pull on the power adapter and never on the
cord! Never pull or carry the device by the cord.
■ Ensure that the cord for the power adapter is not crushed, kinked or laid over sharp
edges, and that it does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Do not wind the cord
around the device or power adapter.
■ Only use the device if it has been assembled completely and correctly! The dust
collector, fi lter holder and fi lter must be inserted and undamaged! If dirt gets
inside the motor unit, this could damage the motor.
■ Protect the device from heat, open fl ames, extreme temperatures, prolonged humid-
ity, moisture and impacts.
■ Only use original accessories from the manufacturer so as not to impair the function-
ing of the device and to prevent possible damage.
