Safety instructions
WARNING: Read all safety instructions, information, im-
ages and technical data provided with this device. Failure
to observe the safety instructions and information can cause
electric shock, fi re and/or injuries.
■ This device may be used by children from 8 years of age, or by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities,
or lack of experience and/or knowledge, if they have been super-
vised or instructed regarding the safe use of the device and have
understood the dangers that could arise.
■ Children are not allowed to play with the device.
■ Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by
children unless they are over 8 years old and supervised.
■ Children younger than 8 years old and animals must be kept
away from the device and the connection cable.
■ The device must always be disconnected from the mains if su-
pervision is not available and before assembly, disassembly or
cleaning.
■ Never immerse the device and the connecting cable in water or
other liquids, and ensure that they do not fall into the water or
become wet.
■ Only use the power adapter provided to charge the battery. Do
not use the provided power adapter to charge any other devices.
■ For your own safety, inspect the device for damage each time
before powering on. Only use the device if it does not show any
signs of damage! If the device or the connecting cable are dam-
aged, they must be replaced by the manufacturer, customer ser-
vice or a similarly qualifi ed body (e.g. specialist workshop) in
order to avoid hazards.
DANGER – shock hazard
■ Only use and store in closed areas.
■ Do not use in areas with high humidity.
■ Should the device fall into the water, immediately disconnect the power supply. Do
not try to pull the device out of the water while it is connected to the mains!
■ Never touch the device or connection cable with wet hands if these components are
connected to the mains.
■ Never vacuum liquids. Do not fi ll the dust collector with liquid. Keep the motor unit
away from moisture and wet areas!
