• Never leave this car seat unsecured in your vehicle. This car seat must
remain secured even when not in use. In a sharp turn, crash or sudden
stop, an unsecured car seat can be thrown around and could severely
injure vehicle occupants.
• When installing this child restraint Rear-Facing, it must be secured by the
LATCH belt or vehicle seat belt as shown in this instruction manual.
Installing Rear-Facing Car Seat With LATCH

• Only use the car seat LATCH system in vehicle seating locations
designated by the vehicle manufacturer for use with LATCH and that have
a standard anchor spacing of 11in (280 mm).
• LATCH Push-on Connectors must be secured to the vehicle LATCH lower
anchors only. Connection to other vehicle anchors or vehicle components
could result in the anchor tearing free in a crash.
• Never attach more than one push-on connector to a vehicle lower anchor
unless recommended by the vehicle owner’s manual for that vehicle.
• LATCH belt must be routed through Rear-
Facing Belt Path.
• Do NOT install by this method for a child
weighing over 35 lb (15.9 kg).
