Step 4
Remove each LATCH Push-on Connector
from vehicle lower anchors by pressing and
holding the red release button while pulling
the LATCH push-on Connector as shown in
Figure 82.
Step 5
Remove car seat from vehicle.
Step 6
Remove LATCH Belt from Forward-Facing belt
path and store LATCH belt. See “LATCH Belt
Storage” on page 82.
Step 7:
Store top tether. See “Top Tether Storage” on
page 84.

WARNING — DEATH or
SERIOUS INJURY can occur
• Vehicle belt must be routed through Forward-Facing Belt Path and
contained in both red Forward-Facing Belt Guides when using car seat
Forward-Facing.
• Forward-Facing Belt Lock-off must be used when installing with
lap/shoulder belt.
• Not all vehicle belts are safe for use with this car seat. Read your vehicle
owner’s manual and the “Vehicle Belt Requirements” section in this
manual.
• ALWAYS secure the Top Tether provided with this car seat when installing
Forward-Facing with a lap belt. NEVER use this car seat, when installing
Forward-Facing with a lap belt, without the Top Tether.
• ALWAYS secure the Top Tether provided with this car seat when installing
Forward-Facing with a lap/shoulder belt unless no Top Tether Anchor is
available.
