2.Disassembly
Processor Installation Procedure
1. Insert the CPU , pay careful attention to the pin alignment, it will fit only one way (DO NOT FORCE IT!), and turn
the release latch towards the lock symbol (Figure 10b).
2. Apply the thermal grease to the top of the CPU .
3. Remove the sticker (Figure 10d) from the heat sink.
4. Insert the heat sink
as indicated in Figure 10e.
5. Tighten screws
- in the order indicated on the label.
6. Replace the component bay cover and tighten the screws (page 2 - 12).
