2 - 18 Removing the Modem
2.Disassembly
For M540SE computers:
6. Remove screws - from the bottom case and carefully disconnect the fan cable from the mainboard
(Figure 14a).
7. Carefully lift the bottom case
up and off the computer (Figure 14b).
8. Remove screws - (Figure 14c) from the modem module.
9. Lift the modem up and off the socket and separate the modem from the connector .
10. Lift the modem off the computer.
