Removing the GPU Fan Unit
1. Turn off the computer, turn it over, remove the battery (page 2 - 6).
2. Carefully disconnect the cables & , and then remove the screw
- from the heat sink unit in the order
indicated on the label (i.e screw first through to screw last Figure 13a).
3. Carefully (it may be hot) remove the fan unit (Figure 13b).
4. Reverse the process to install a new fan unit (remember to apply the whole tube of the thermal grease to the
center of the GPU).
