Theacceleratorposition,whichisproportionaltotheMCORvoltage,canbedisplayedwiththeCDThandset.Ifan
CDThandsetisnotavailable,proceedtoMCORVoltageTestwithouttheCDTHandset.
ThefollowingarepotentialMCORsymptoms:
•VehiclewillnotdriveduetonoFOOTINPUTtothecontroller.
•VehiclewillnotreachtopspeedbecauseMCORdoesnotreach100%throttleposition.
•VehicledoesnotmaintainspeednorwillitaccelerateduetoMCORhavinga“dead-spot”initspedaltravel.
•ThevoltagesignalfromtheMCORrandomlyorsporadicallyuctuateswithpedalatrest,duringpedaltraveland
withpedalfullypressed.
MCORVoltageTestwiththeCDTHandset
1.Placechocksatthefrontwheelsandlifttherearofthevehiclewithachainhoistoroorjack.Positionjackstands
undertheframerailsjustforwardofeachspringmount.SeeWARNING“Liftonlyoneend...”inGeneral

•ThekeyswitchshouldbeplacedintheOFFpositionandleftintheOFFpositionfortheduration
ofthistest.
2.ConnecttheCDTtothevehicle.
3.AccesstheMonitormenuandselectTHROTTLE%byusingtheSCROLLDISPLAYbuttons.
4.TheCDTshouldindicate0%withthepedalnotpressed.WhilemonitoringtheCDTdisplayscreen,slowlypress
theacceleratorpedal.Asthepedalispressed,theCDTshouldindicateasteady,incrementalrisefrom0%(pedal
notpressed)to100%(pedalfullypressed).SeefollowingNOTE.
NOTE:Observecloselytoseeifthrottleinputpercentagerandomlyorsporadicallyuctuateswithpedalatrest,during
pedaltravelandwithpedalfullypressed.Ifituctuates,theMCORisdefectiveandmustbereplaced.
5.IftheMCORpassestheprevioustest,pressandholdtheacceleratorpedaltotheoor.Byhand,gentlymove
thepedalfromsidetosideandseeifthethrottleinputpercentageuctuatesfrom100%.Ifituctuates,the
MCORisdefectiveandmustbereplaced.
6.Ifthrottleinputpercentagedoesnotreach100%intheprevioussteps,proceedtoMCORVoltageTestwithout
theCDTHandset.
