How to fix low chlorine level in my CMP Inverter pool?

  To address low or no chlorine in your CMP Inverter pool, several factors could be at play. Start by checking the stabilizer (Cyanuric acid) level and adjust to 20-30 PPM as advised by a pool professional. Ensure sufficient daily run time, ideally 1 hour per 10 degrees ambient temperature. Also, verify that the Chlorine Output percentage isn't set too low and increase it if necessary. If heavy rain, leaves, fertilizer, high bather load, parties, or pets have affected the pool, use the BOOST setting for 72 hours. Check and correct low salt levels using the chart. Remember to test and adjust salt levels if they're below 3,000 PPM.

First, test the salt level of the water and add salt if needed, referring to the chart. Check and clean the cell, as it may be clogged or dirty. If the water temperature is low (below 60 degrees), turn the system off. Ensure sufficient water flow by making sure the pump is running, checking and correcting valve alignments, and cleaning the filter. Lastly, address any sensor tab issues by cleaning off calcium and ensuring no air bubble is present at the sensor tab in the cell housing.

Check the circuit breaker on the bottom of the Control Center; if tripped, press the rubber cover to reset it. Also, verify that the time clock is providing 220 VAC to the Control Center when active.

  If the power light is flashing or the service light is on while operating on a low output percentage for your CMP Inverter, it could be due to a low salt level, a dirty cell, or damaged cell blade coatings. Set the output to “Boost” and then hold down the upward arrow button until the polarity lights begin to flash back and forth. Check to see if power light has stopped flashing or the service light has turned off.

How to fix a leaking cell housing on CMP Inverter?

  If the cell housing of your CMP Inverter is leaking from the cap, it might be due to an improperly seated O-ring or a cross-threaded cell cap. Ensure the O-ring hasn't been lubricated and is fully seated in the slot after cleaning any dirt or debris. Also, unscrew the cap to confirm it screws onto the housing without resistance.
