Using the mitre gauge
1. Make apractice cut with thegauge set to 0° and then check thecut using atry square.
2. If adjustment is necessary, loosen thescrew holding thepointer and move thepointer accordingly.
3. Set thedesired angle on themitre gauge and make thecut whilst holding theworkpiece firmly against
themitre gauge.
Tilting the table making bevel cuts
• Undo thewing nut (17), tilt thetable to thedesired angle and tighten thewing nut.
