1.3 Product safety symbols

Switch themachine off and unplug it before all cleaning, maintenance and whenever it is not
beingused.
Inspect thelog splitter for any damage before operating it, pay particular attention to themains
lead, make sure that none of thenuts and bolts are loose and that thehydraulic control lever
and its cover work properly.
Read theinstruction manual. Read theentire instruction manual and familiarise yourself with
theoperation of thelog splitter before starting to operateit.
Wear eye protection. Protect your eyes from wood chips and splinters. Useprotective glasses
or avisor.
Wear safety gloves.
Wear safety footwear. Footwear with steel toe caps should be used to protect your feet from
falling objects.
Consider theenvironment, dispose of waste oil in accordance with local regulations.
