1.3 Product safety symbols

Inspect thelog splitter for any damage before operating it, pay particular attention to themains
lead, make sure that none of thenuts and bolts are loose and that thehydraulic control lever
and its cover work properly.
Read theinstruction manual. Read theentire instruction manual and familiarise yourself with
theoperation of thelog splitter before starting to operateit.
Wear eye protection. Protect your eyes from wood chips and splinters. Useprotective glasses
or avisor.
Wear safety gloves.
Wear safety footwear. Footwear with steel toe caps should be used to protect your feet from
falling objects.
Consider theenvironment, dispose of waste oil in accordance with local regulations.
