Product safety symbols and their meaning
For work safety and maintenance the chain saw is marked with warning symbols.
Try to understand the importance of the warning symbols and avoid making mistakes.
Fuelling: Use only oil-mixed petrol.
Filling Oil: Check and fill with chain oil as needed.
On the back left side: Set ignition switch in “0” position to be able to quickly shut
off the engine.
On the upper right part of the air filter cover: How to start the engine. Pull out
the choke lever (at the back right side of the air filter cover) in the direction of the
arrows to set the starting positions:
Position 1: The choke lever pulled out one notch – for start from warm engine.
Position 2: The choke lever pulled out two notches – for start from cold engine.
H H: adjustment of high speed nozzle
L L: adjustment of low speed nozzle
T T: adjustment of idle
On the saw’s right side: The symbols indicate when the chain brake is
disengaged (clear arrow) and released (filled arrow).
