Upgrading Your PMP Firmware
Download the latest rmware for your PMP from
www.cobyusa.com. Save this le to
the computer.
Connect your PMP to the computer. Double-click the Removable Icon that corresponds
to your PMP, and then double-click the FIRMWARE folder to open it.
Double-click the downloaded rmware le (you may need a le compression utility in

stalled on your computer). In the window that appears, select the le named “UPDATE.
BST” and copy it to your PMP’s root folder (for example, E:\).
Disconnect your PMP from the computer.
Press and hold to turn the PMP off, and then turn it back on. The PMP will update its
rmware automatically.
Do not disconnect your PMP from the computer or otherwise interrupt the
rmware upgrade —doing so could damage your PMP and render it inoper-
able.
