Troubleshooting
If you experience diculties with your sound processor, follow the guidelines
listed below. If you need further assistance, please contact your hearing health
professional for further assistance. For more detailed troubleshooting, please
refer to your User Manual.
Problem Possible Solution
No sound / weak sound Replace battery.
Increase volume.
Feedback (whistling) Check that the sound processor is not touching anything, such as a hat, glasses or
other objects. Relocate or remove the object.
Try turning down the volume of your sound processor.
Check that there is no external damage to the sound processor.
Your sound processor settings might not be optimal. Contact your hearing care
professional to program your sound processor in an optimal way.
Sound is distorted or
intermittent
Replace battery.
Volume might be too high. Decrease volume.
Sound processor does not
work
Turn on sound processor.
Battery door might not be completely closed. Make sure to insert the battery
correctly and gently close the battery door completely.
Replace battery.
Make sure battery is inserted correctly.
Audio accessory program active and no accessory connected. Check program
setting.
Sound processor repeatedly
falls o*
Magnet is too weak. Contact your hearing health professional.
Persistent skin irritation* Magnet is too strong. Contact your hearing health professional.
