5-6-5-1.Brand New HDD(not partitioned HDD)
① Install the HDD into the X10 and power it ON. ② Go to System of SETUP, and select HDD
Format, as shown below. ③ Confirm with the OK key and the HDD Format screen will appear:
⑤Press the OK key to start the format process, which will run as follows; (HDD unmounting ---Æ
Partition Resetting --Æ NTFS Formatting) see sequence below.
※The X10 re-boots automatically after finishing the HDD format.
5-6-5-2.Used HDD(partitioned HDD)
① Go to HDD Format of SETUP, and confirm with the OK button. ② The HDD Info screen will be
displayed as shown below. ③ Press the OK button to move to the next step. ④ Select OK and
confirm with the OK button. The formatting process will begin. The next procedure is the same as
above.
[Warning] HDD format will clear all data in the HDD!
5-6-6. NTFS Fix
You can check and fix the NTFS file system of the X10 HDD as follows.
Select NTFS Fix and confirm with the OK key.
【 Caution 】 We recommend you do NOT to run this function if the NTFS file system of the X10
hard disk has no problems.
