CodeXML Router:
The CodeXML Router-BE soware was designed to work with Code Readers connected via Bluetooth radio
or cable (USB or RS232). CodeXML Router soware has two (2) primary funcons:
1) Easy Applicaon Interfacing - CodeXML Router-BE allows you to easily connect a Code Reader to serial or
keystroke applicaons. If your applicaon requires keystroke data, CodeXML Router will map data from
a physical or virtual serial port to the keyboard port. If you are sending data from a Code Reader to a
Bluetooth adapter connected to a host computer. You may route the data to any Windows or Pocket PC
applicaon that accepts keystroke data (e.g., Word, Excel or Notepad). CodeXML Router-BE supports all
Windows keyboard mapping opons, ASCII characters, and funcon keys.
2) Reliable Bidireconal Data Transfer - If your applicaon requires data packet conrmaon, CodeXML
Router-BE will monitor each radio communicaon to ensure that data is not lost inadvertently, even if a
Code Reader is taken out of range or loses radio communicaon.
