Encendido con Fósforos
ADVERTENCIA
LAS SIGUIENTES REGLAS DEBEN SER SIEMPRE
SEGUIDAS EN ESTE ORDEN (FIG. 26):
1. ¡ABRA LA TAPA DE LA PARRILLA! Cualquier intento en
encender la parrilla con la tapa cerrada podría causar una
explosión.
2. Compruebe que las perillas de control del quemador estén
giradas a “OFF” (Apagado).
3. NO se pare con su cabeza o brazos sobre la parrilla.
PRECAUCIÓN
Use un fósforo LARGO de madera o un encendedor de butano
con una extensión. Asegúrese que todos los controles de los
quemadores estén apagados con excepción del quemador que
desea encender. Si no tiene disponible un fósforo largo o un
encendedor, use la extensión para fósforo. Inserte un fósforo
en la punta del gancho en la extensión y encienda y coloque el
fósforo encendido cerca del QUEMADOR que está usando.
Instrucciones Para Encender Encendiendo los Quemadores
1. Encienda el fosforo de madera largo (o use la extensión para
fósforos o un encendedor de butano con extensión) y colóquelo
a través de los espacios de las rejillas de la parrilla cerca de los
ori cios del quemador. (Fig. 29)
2. Empuje y gire la perilla de control en sentido contrario a las
manecillas del reloj hasta la Posición “HIGH” (ALTA).
3. Repita los pasos del 1 al 2 para encender el segundo quemador.

1. Presione y gire la válvula del quemador a ENCENDIDO/
ALTO (”HIGH/LIGHT”) luego presione repetidamente
el botón del encendedor hasta que el quemador se
encienda. (Fig. 27 y 28)
2. Si después de 5 sequndos no se enciende, gire el(los)
control(es) de los quemador(es), expere 5 minutos y
repita el procedimiento de encendido.

Proper location of the burner with respect to the ori ce is
important. To verify the proper installation of the venturi
tube, use a screwdriver to remove the grill top. The venturi
tube must be located over the ori ce  tting. See Fig. 23
(grill top not shown).
CAUTION
DO NOT add charcoal or lighting  uid!
Check and clean the burner/venturi tubes for insects and
insect nests. A clogged tube can lead to a  re beneath
the appliance.
WARNING
Failure to follow these safety steps before using the grill
each time could result in a  re that could be hazardous to
you, your appliance or property. It is especially important to
observe these steps after the grill has been stored, moved
or cleaned.
DANGER
TO PREVENT FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZARD:
NO SMOKING. DO NOT use or permit sources of
ignition in the area while doing a leak test.
Perform leak tests outdoors only.
NEVER perform a leak test with  re or  ame.
1. Make a soapy solution of equal parts mild liquid
dishwashing detergent and water.
2. Turn off all burner control knobs.
3. Apply a soap solution to the connections
indicated with the arrows. (Fig. 24) If bubbles
appear at these areas, a leak is indicated.
If you detect a leak:
1. Stop a leak by tightening the loose joint, or by replacing
the faulty part with a replacement part recommended
by Coleman. DO NOT attempt to repair the cylinder if it
should become damaged; the cylinder MUST be replaced.
2. If you are unable to stop a leak, remove the cylinder from
the grill. DO NOT use the grill until the leak is corrected.
When to test for leaks:
1. Perform a leak test each time the gas supply cylinder is
connected to the regulator. Leak test anytime a part of the
gas system is replaced.
1. Regularly check the burner venturi tubes for blockage
from an insect nest. Read “Cleaning the Venturi” in the
section titled “Care, Maintenance, and Cleaning”, and also
the section titled “Troubleshooting”.
2. Check that all the burner venturi [A] are set over the valve
outlets [B] correctly. The valve ori ce [C] must be inside
the venturi. (Fig. 25)
3. Use only the gas speci ed.
4. Keep the grill on a level surface.
5. Keep the grease pan empty at start up.
