WARNING:
The engine must be started in neutral, otherwise damage to engine can occur.
Do not attach lanyard to clothing that could tear loose. Do not route lanyard where
it could become entangled, preventing lanyard from functioning.
Avoid accidentally pulling lanyard during normal operation. Loss of engine power
means loss of steering control. Also, without engine power, the boat could slow rapidly.
This could result in operator, passengers and/or objects in the boat to be thrown
forward.
5. Place the throttle grip in the “START”(start) position.
