adjuster counterclockwise. When constant speed is desired, tighten the adjuster to maintain
the desired throttle setting.
WARNING:
Do not over-tighten the friction adjuster. If there is too much resistance, it could be
difcult to move throttle lever or grip, which could result in an accident.
2.9 Stopping engine
NOTE:
Before stopping the engine, rst let it cool off for a few minutes at idle or low speed.
Stopping the engine immediately after operating at high speed is not recommended.
1. Remove engine stop lanyard to shut off engine.
