Requirements of office of Technical Inspection Pressure Equipment
After expiration of the life cycle period, the gas meter should
under no circumstances be discarded into municipal waste
containers. The Waste Act of 27 April 2001 imposes an obligation
for selective collection of metallic waste. Gas meters should be best
returned to the manufacturer who would recycle them
in an appropriate practice. If unable to do so, the user is obliged
to deliver the gas meter to an appropriate recycling point.
Gas meter packaging should never be discarded into municipal
waste containers. The packaging has been appropriately labelled;
pursuant to the Act of 11 May 2001 on packaging and packaging
waste, the user is obliged to submit the packaging
for an appropriate recycling process.
