3. Remove the screw 1 securing the sound card
(see Figure 10-2).
Important: Keep the screw

that secured the card to the chassis. You
will need it when replacing the card.
4. Using a gentle rocking motion, pull the sound card from
the PCI slot 2 on the system board (see Figure 10-2).
