VIII. Checking To See If the Replacement Part Is
Installed Properly
1. Reconnect the power cord to the computer and then to the
electrical outlet.
2. Reconnect all peripheral device cables to the computer.
3. Turn on the computer using the power button and verify
that the replacement part is properly installed
(see Figure 8-1).

4. If the problem persists, repeat the Removing and
Replacing procedures.
