3. Remove the heat sink (2).
NOTE: The thermal material must be thoroughly cleaned from the surface of the heat sink (1) and the
processor (2) each time the heat sink is removed. Thermal pads and thermal paste must also be installed
on all surfaces before the heat sink is reinstalled. Thermal pads must be placed in all of the following
locations on the heat sink: the four specifically marked areas (3), the nVIDIA video chip (4), the
Northbridge chip (5), and the capacitors (6).
Reverse this procedure to install the heat sink.
