8. Slide the expansion port 2 bracket 1 away from the system
board.
9. Remove the fan/heat sink assembly 2.

Due to the adhesive quality of the thermal paste located
between the fan/heat sink assembly and processor, it may be
necessary to move the fan/heat sink assembly from side to side
to detach it from the processor.
