Connection
Before connection, disconnect the mixer and all other devices
which are to be connected to the mixer, from the mains voltage
(pull out mains plug).
For connection of the cinch in and outputs, only use the suitable,
shielded cinch cables. For connection of the microphone inputs,
only use suitable microphone cable. Disturbances can occur if
other cable is used.
To avoid distortion or incorrect adaptations which can lead to
damage to the device, only play-back devices with a cinch output
may be connected to the cinch inputs of the mixer. Only devices
with the same inputs may be connected to the cinch or XLR out-
puts of the mixer.
Observe here also the connection values in the section "Technical
Data".
Connection of the inputs
The following applies for all cinch inputs:
The white cinch socket of the mixer is the input for the left channel.
The red cinch socket of the mixer is the input for the right channel.
Connections CH-5 (32), CH-4 (33), CH-3 (34) and CH-2 (35)
Two stereo cinch inputs are available for each.
The inputs with the label "PHONO” are only suitable for record
players with magnetic systems.
Only high-level devices such as CD players, cassette decks and
so on can be connected to the other inputs.
Connection CH-1 (37)
A stereo cinch input LINE is available.
The input is only suitable for high-level devices.
MIC 1 (38) and MIC 2 (39)
You can connect your microphones to these 6.3-mm mono jacks.

(27) Mains connection - AC INPUT
The mains cable enclosed for the power supply is inserted here.
(28) Connections - MASTER L / MASTER R
The MASTER 1 output signal is pending at the symmetrical XLR outputs.
This signal concerns the mixed audio output signal of the mixer. A final amplifier is
connected to these sockets.
(29) Connections - MASTER 2
The MASTER 2 output signal is pending at the asymmetrical cinch outputs.
This signal concerns the mixed audio output signal of the mixer. A final amplifier is
connected to these sockets.
(30) Connection MASTER 1
The MASTER 1 output signal is pending at the asymmetrical cinch outputs.
This signal concerns the mixed audio output signal of the mixer. A final amplifier is
connected to these sockets.
(31) Connections - REC
The mixed audio output signal is pending at the asymmetrical cinch outputs REC (in
the same way as at the MASTER signals). The REC signal is, however, not influenced
by the MASTER control.
Recording devices such as, for example, cassette decks or tape recorders can be
connected at these sockets.
The output level of the REC sockets can be influenced by the individual channel
faders (3) and the GAIN control (24).
(32) Connections - CH-5
These are the input sockets for CH-5.
The audio source devices are connected here which are to be controlled by the
channel faders (3) CH-5.
The sockets PHONO are intended exclusively for the record player with magnetic
systems and have a corresponding equaliser pre-amplifier.
(33) Connections - CH-4
these are the input sockets for CH-4.
The audio source devices are connected here which are to be controlled by the
channel faders (3) CH-4.
The sockets PHONO are intended exclusively for the record player with magnetic
systems and have a corresponding equaliser pre-amplifier.
